शिक्षक: पठम् पाठयति | = शिक्षक पढा रहा है | (The teacher is teaching.)

महिला गितम् गायति | = महिला गीत गा रही है | (Woman singing a song.)

बालक कन्दुकेन क्रीडति | = लड़का गेंद से खेल रहा है | (Boy is playing with ball.) 

शिशुहु रोदिति | = बच्चा रो रहा है | (the baby is crying.)

अहं संस्कृतम् जानामि | = मै संस्कृत जनता हु | (I know Sanskrit.)

अहं पुस्तकं ददामि | = मैं किताब देता हु | (I give the book)

शिक्षकाः पठम् पाठयन्ति | = शिक्षके पाठ पढ़ाते है | (Teachers teach lessons.)

छात्र: उतरं उदित्वा उपविशतु | = विद्यार्थी उतर बोल कर बैठ रहा है | (The student is sitting with the answer spoken.)

अहं सत्यम् उदित्वा सयवान् भवामि | = सत्य बोल कर निश्चितता के साथ जा रहा है | (Speaking the truth is going with certainty.)

अहं शुभाषितम् उदित्वा अनेयन सन् मार्गे नयामि | = मै शुभाषितम बोल कर जुटे रास्ते पे नहीं चलुगा | (I will not walk on the path engaged by saying 'Shubhashitam'.)

सः धनम् दत्वा पुस्तकम् आनयति | = वह पैसा दे कर किताब लाया है | (He has brought the book by giving money.)

माता धनम् दत्वा माला आनयति | = माँ पैसा दिया माला लाने के लिए | (Mother gave money to get the garland.)

लक्ष्मी धनं दत्वा पुष्पम् आनयति | = लक्ष्मी पैसा दी फुल लाने के लिये है | (Lakshmi money is for bringing the flower.)

माता पाकं पक्त्वा प्रवेश्यति | = माँ खाना बनाकर दे रही है | (Mother is preparing and giving food.)

रमा नर्तित्वा संतोष अनुभति | = रमा नृत्य करके संतोष अनुभव कर रहा है | (Rama is feeling satisfied by dancing.)

अहम् कार्य कृत्वा कृत्वा सरणतः | = मै काम कर कर के थक गया हु | (I am tired of working.)

बालक: पठित्वा पठित्वा गितं गायति | = बालक पढ़पढ़ के गीत गाता है | (The boy sings the songs of reading.)
